If you are an Intermediate Spanish level student and you’d like to find a podcast to improve your listening skills. Keep reading!
Many of my students ask me about what they can do to improve their listening skills. As I have mentioned before, listening to podcasts is a great way to improve your listening skills.
Podcasts are great because they allow you to carry on with your daily life and make the most of usually boring tasks such as driving, ironing or cleaning.
However many of my intermediate level students complain that the topics in most podcasts are either too focused on grammar or too difficult to understand. If you too have this problem, keep reading!
Today I’d like to share with you one of the discoveries I think will help you most. Although I am not a big fan of learning apps such as Duolingo, I must take my hat off for their podcast.

Its episodes are compelling, true-life stories that improve your Spanish listening and comprehension skills. One of the biggest advantages of this podcast is that it is aired in easy-to-understand Spanish alongside an English narration. This helps you get an idea of the topic that will be covered without getting lost.
The storytellers speak more slowly than what they normally would, and the vocabulary in every episode is mapped out so it meets the Common European Framework of Reference.
Their first episode was aired in 2017, and since then, over 50 episodes have been published. They cover accents of different regions and it includes a transcript for each episode.
